For Disabled or Decorated Veterans
The Qualified METRO Veterans Pass (MVP) launched April 11, 2016, and is part of a six-month pilot program designed to provide qualified U.S. military veterans with unlimited light-rail, local bus, and Park & Ride service for FREE. Applicants must meet one of the following:
- A disabled veteran who has suffered, as a result of military service, at least 50 percent service-connected disability or 40 percent service-connected disability because of the amputation of a lower extremity.
- A veteran who has earned a medal of valor: Air Force Cross, Congressional Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross or Purple Heart.
