3. How is this different from other registrations on the website?
- On October 5, 2016, METRO implemented a new vendor database. Any registrations you had prior to October 5, 2016 is no longer active. You MUST register in the new vendor database to access and receive information about METRO bids, solicitations and contracts. You can register via this link
- If you believe you are eligible to certify as a small business, that is a separate application and registration process and can be completed via this link.

- You will need an email account: Only ONE account and only ONE email address can be used per vendor. Please make sure that this email belongs to the person best able to respond directly to solicitations or who has the ability to distribute the information to the appropriate person in the company. Why is this important?: This will be the only email to receive bid notifications and perform password resets.
- Tax Identification Number (TIN): Although not recommended, a social security number can be used.
- Password: You will need to select a password in order to access your account.
- Physical Address: Location where information can be mailed and reach the appropriate party
- Your NIGP Codes (See Questions below for a definition of NIGP Codes and where to find them)
